How To Download

Follow these steps to choose the correct downloader page, submit a valid link, and save supported media with fewer errors.

Choose the correct page

Open the downloader page that matches the media type you want to save, such as video, reels, photo, story, IGTV, profile, or highlights.

Copy the full Instagram link

Copy the direct Instagram URL from the browser or share menu and make sure the link is complete before using it.

Paste the link into DownVio

Paste the copied URL into the input field on the selected downloader page and submit it for processing.

Review the result

Wait for the page to detect the media, then confirm that the preview or returned result matches what you intended to save.

Save the file

Use the provided save or download action to store the file on your phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop device.

Try again if needed

If the first request fails, recheck the link, confirm the content is public and available, then try the same flow once more.

Tips For A Smoother Download

Use the exact content URL

Links copied from incomplete previews or unrelated pages may fail. Whenever possible, copy the direct URL for the post, reel, story, or profile you want.

Give processing a moment

Some requests need a few extra seconds before media is detected. Avoid repeated clicks if the page is still working.

Check the page type

If a photo link is pasted into the reels page, or a profile link is pasted into a story page, results may not appear correctly.

If Something Does Not Work

Private or removed content

Media that is private, deleted, restricted, or otherwise unavailable may not return a result through the public downloader flow.

Broken or incomplete links

Double-check that the copied link still opens the original media in Instagram and was not shortened or cut off.

Temporary source changes

Sometimes the source platform changes how media is exposed. If a valid public link fails, try again later or use the support contact.
